Bio-Kult is a unique multi-species, multi-strain live bacteria supplement with 14 strains of beneficial bacteria. This means that Bio-Kult can deliver high concentrations of beneficial bacteria to colonization sites in the gut.
The beneficial bacteria in Bio-Kult are cryoprotected during the freeze-drying process, which offers two main benefits:
1. They are protected from the acidic and harsh environment of the stomach and are therefore able to colonize the entire length of the gastrointestinal tract.
2. The process allows Bio-Kult to be stored at room temperature without the need for refrigeration.
Bio-Kult can be used on an ongoing basis or for a short period of time, e.g. when taking antibiotics.
It contains soy and milk, which are used in the fermentation process. The milk content is at a level that would not affect those with lactose intolerance.
The 30 capsule pack is an ideal travel pack.

Other ingredients: Bulking agent (microcrystalline cellulose) live bacterial cultures (milk, soya), vegetable capsule (hydroxypropyl methylcellulose). Contains soya and milk used in the fermentation process. Content of milk is at level that would not affect lactose intolerance sufferers.
Recommended use: Take 1 - 2 capsules once or twice daily with food. If you are taking antibiotics: Take 4 capsules daily, ideally at a different time of day from the antibiotics. Continue taking for at least 2 weeks after completion of the antibiotic course. When travelling: 1 week before travel follow guidelines for general use. During travel take 4 capsules daily. Continue to take for at least 1 week following the end of travel. Children 3-12 years: Give 1/2 to 1 capsule once or twice daily with food. Pregnancy: Bio-Kult is suitable for use during pregnancy, but we would always suggest consulting your doctor or healthcare practitioner before taking any food supplement.
