THE MAIN PROPERTIES OF THE ESSENTIAL OIL OF GINGER

Tonic, stimulating, heating, stomachic, carminative, digestive, an aphrodisiac, antiseptic, febrifuge, diuretic and anti-cellulite.

THE MOST COMMON USES OF THE ESSENTIAL OIL OF GINGER

The essential oil of ginger is useful in the case of infectious diseases, is effective against nausea, especially that due to travel (car sickness, sea sickness etc) and pregnancy.
Also the cramps caused by stomach pain or muscle pains are alleviated by a clutch of local with 1 drop of essence of ginger.
The ginger is equally effective in case of arthritic pain, rheumatic, and in the case of muscle pain related to fatigue and sustained efforts.

SOME MODES OF USE OF THE ESSENTIAL OIL OF GINGER

- In case of cellulite: dilute 2 drops of essential oil of ginger and zedoaria (curcuma) in a tablespoon of sweet almond oil or cream base and massage the affected area.
- In the presence of nausea, vomiting, car sickness: put a drop of essential oil on a handkerchief and breathe the aroma.
- To stimulate the circulation and relieve the muscle pain: add a few drops ofginger to a massage oil or a cream with arnica and massage the affected areas.

For cervical pain aggravated by cold, with muscle tension or pain of the spastic type (stiff neck): apply with mild massage (particularly delicate in the case of crick in the neck) a little bit of aromatic oil to the heating action, and antispasmodic: 10 ml of vegetable oil, mix 4 drops of essential oil of ginger, 4 drops of lavender and 2 drops of essential oil of cinnamon (only 1 drop if you have sensitive skin). After applying the oil to keep warm the part, covering it with a silk scarf.

Non-toxic, non-irritant except in high concentration, slightly phototoxic; may cause sensitization.

Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.

Keep out of the reach of children under 3 years of age.

Store in a cool, dry place away from heat sources.
