Health and Wellness supplements
Wellness supplements can play a key role in counteracting the negative effects of cortisol and free radicals. But their effect is not just that. At Bodynutrition you'll find the best online supplements for mood control, cholesterol control, fiber, probiotics and prebiotics, and the latest in wellness supplementation.
With depleted soils, stressful lifestyles and constant exposure to toxins, it is important to support the best health of our bodies.
Why we need to take supplements for wellness
1. Soil depletion
Our food is only as nutrient dense as the soil in which it grows.
Crops grown decades, and certainly centuries, ago were much richer in vitamins and minerals because the soil in which they grew was richer in vitamins and minerals.
Through time and environmental changes (such as GMOs, monocultures, pesticides, herbicides, erosion, etc.), our soils are depleted of nutrients, making our food less nutrient dense.
2. Stress and anxiety
Never in human history has theirs been a more stressed civilization than ours.
Working while juggling family responsibilities, environmental stressors such as electromagnetic fields and air, toxic water and food, social media, news, political unrest-all cause stress and anxiety for everyone at some level.
Stress depletes valuable mineral reserves in our bodies, which need to be replaced. Because our food is less nutrient dense, according to point 1, supplements can help fill this gap.
3. Not everyone eats organic
No one eats organic 100% of the time.
And if you're eating mostly non-organic/not grass-fed foods with lots of processed foods (a SAD diet - Standard American Diet), you're definitely getting less antioxidants, polyphenols, fat-soluble vitamins, Omega-3, and other really important things.
Truth: You can't supplement a poor diet.
I don't care how many supplements you take, if you're eating like crap, those supplements are doing you very little good.
If you're eating mostly organic/grass-fed, great.
However, your life probably still has stress and anxiety, per No. 2. And even many organic foods are grown in depleted soils, per No. 1, unless you grow it yourself or get it from a local farmer with top-notch soil.
4. Toxins
Our bodies are exposed to more toxins than any other body in history.
Toxins come from car exhaust, paint fumes, office buildings, air fresheners, cleaning products, gas releases from furniture and mattresses, chlorinated and fluoridated water, vaccines, xenoestrogens, electromagnetic fields, poor air quality, and yes, our food.
Even glyphosate is going crazy in almost everything.
Having the right supplements can help your body detoxify more efficiently.
5. Exercise depletes nutrients.
Especially if you are doing really intense workouts or exercising every day.
This does not mean that exercise is harmful, it's not; that's fine! But you still need to be aware of your body's nutrient and mineral reserves.
There are many other reasons why we need supplements and why they should be part of our lives, not as an occasional thing, but as a normal part of our lives, like brushing our teeth or going to work.
