Supplements of vitamin C
Vitamin C, also known as ascorbic acid, or ascorbic acid, is an acid sugar weak, and it is structurally similar to glucose. It was historically used in the treatment and prevention of scurvy which is a disease caused by a deficiency of vitamin C.
When you think of vitamin C you probably think of orange juice, because the best way to get the daily dose is to consume any type of citrus fruits such as lemons, lemons, and oranges. Although the full version is often preferred because it includes the fiber of the fruit, also the supplementary form isolated nutrient has been extensively researched and has much to offer.
Why should I use vitamin C?
Inside the body, vitamin C performs a variety of functions in almost all systems. The majority of these processes is related to the antioxidant effects of vitamin C. As an antioxidant, vitamin C plays a role in the washing of destructive molecules known as "reactive oxygen species" (ROS). ROS are by-products natural of many metabolic processes and the production of ROS increases during activities such as intense exercise or periods of prolonged stress.
As the name suggests, ROS are extremely reactive with virtually all you are able to put your hands: cellular membranes, proteins, the name. While ROS are a normal part of the metabolic process, can also be extremely harmful if their levels are allowed to operate in an uncontrolled way, increasing the demand for antioxidants of the body.
Supplementation with vitamin C can provide the body with antioxidants to neutralize these molecules and keep them at healthy levels.
