Olimp ALKAGEN  - dietary supplement in capsules contains alkali metal salts of bicarbonate, citric and orthophosphoric acids, as well as magnesium and zinc (in the form of the amino acid chelate Albion®).

Zinc contributes to a normal acid-base metabolism (the central buffer system in the body is based on the hydrogen carbonate ion HCO3- for the acids formed. It is formed by carbonic anhydrase. Zinc influences the activity of carbonic anhydrase [EFSA, 2009; Freake, 2006; King and Cousins, 2006]).

Magnesium contributes to the electrolyte balance.

Olimp ALKAGEN™ was developed for all active athletes who want to shorten the recovery period after training and reduce acidification in the body caused by heavy loads during or outside of training. This product is also recommended for increased consumption of acid-forming food and beverages such as coffee, black tea, sausage, meat, sweets and alcohol.

Ingredients

Sodium carbonate, potassium carbonate, calcium salt of orthophosphoric acid, potassium citrate, magnesium salt of citric acid, calcium salt of citric acid, magnesium oxide, bulking agent (microcrystalline cellulose), anti-caking agent (magnesium stearate), zinc bisglycinate, capsule (gelatine, coloring agent: E 171).

Intake recommendation

Take 2 capsules twice a day between meals. Keep out of reach of children.

The recommended daily dose should not be exceeded. Dietary supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied and balanced diet. A varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle are recommended.
