Vitamin B1 is provided as a food supplement in the form of a hard capsule containing thiamine mononitrate, a stable form of vitamin B1 (thiamine). Vitamin B1 contributes to normal energy-yielding metabolism and supports the normal function of the heart, the nervous system and psychological function.

While a balanced diet generally supplies adequate amounts of thiamine, certain dietary choices or increased excretion—such as when taking diuretics—may lead to suboptimal levels. Supplementing with 100 mg of vitamin B1 per capsule can help maintain your daily intake.
